Nominator's project description
| Professor Lewandowski is well known internationally for his seminal contributions to loop quantum gravity, a quantum field theory of general relativity and he played a significant role in developing the quantum Einstein equations. His research also had an impact on elements of classical general relativity such as twistor theory and black holes in quasi-equilibrium. While in Germany, he intends to work on physical applications of the quantum theory e.g. quantum cosmology and quantum black holes. |
